Cooperative Energy Audit by Chinese and Germany Experts in BCIA

 

March 27th to 29th, an expert team organized by NECC, GIZ, and dena carried out a joint energy audit in BCIA (Beijing Capital International Airport), so as to implement the Sino-German Energy Audit Project for Key Energy Users. 

 
After preliminary works in the form of questionnaire and audio conference, the expert team at first conducted an on-site check on the operation of ventilation and lighting systems in some parts of Terminal 3 area. Then they metered a serial of data such as terminal’s day and night illumination, area temperature and humidity, vent wind speed, and provided an initial advancement advice from the perspectives of energy-saving and comfort level facilitation. A comprehensive report and improvement advices will be delivered to BCIA on the basis of this field audit. 
 
About this project: In 2016, the Department of Resources Conservation and Environmental Projection, NDRC and the Department of Heating and Efficiency, BMWi signed a meeting minutes of Mutual Cooperation To Promote Urban Energy Conservation, Key Energy Users Energy Audit Demonstration Project And Organize Working-Group Meeting on Energy Efficiency, aiming at integrating Chinese and German advanced experience and technology to tap potentials for key Chinese energy users, so as to improve the efficiency.
