Sino-Japan District Energy Seminar Held in Chongqing
On 5th March, the first Sino-Japan District Energy Seminar was held in Chongqing sponsored by NECC and ECCJ, and co-hosted by China Association of Building Energy Efficiency (CABEE) and District government of Yuzhong, Chongqing. NECC director general Xu Qiang, ECCJ executive director Masahide Shima, CABEE secretary-general Li Deying, Chongqing Municipal DRC deputy director Zhao Baoquan and Yuzhong District mayor Shang Kui attended the conference and addressed respectively.
The Japanese delegation lectured on: importanc of introducing district heating and cooling, latest and emerging technologies regarding heat pump and reservation in Japan as well as market development, urban building operation management system, and machinery related to recycle energy.
For the discussion section, the Chinese side had an in-depth exchange with Japanese experts around urban building energy-saving policy and management demand, key energy conservation technology research progress and application, so as to grip Japanese insights and experience. After the seminar, Yuzhong District government held a project-matching activity which connected service suppliers to those in need of energy-saving technical reform, and tap cooperation potentials. On the next day, the Japanese delegation paid visits to local factories.
During this seminar, NECC also had a conversation on 2019 cooperation plan with ECCJ, certificated Yuzhong District government permit of Mutual Pilot Zone for Green Development. To this end, NECC would better exert its advantages to introduce Japanese and foreign advanced technologies, study green technical reform plan, and develop integrated energy management system to facilitate energy efficiency of Yuzhong.
The attendance to this seminar reached to 90 people from Chinese administrative authorities, industry agencies and enterprises.
