Energy Conservation Administration Division From Jan. 24th to 26th, NECC director general Xu Qiang led a team to Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces to conduct a field trip aimed at urban road lighting transform and green smart city. The NECC team met with local companies with multiple fields of interests of technology. transportation, appliances and intelligent control system. Both enterprises and local governments expressed their willingness to collaborate with NECC in the form of green smart city study focusing on smart streetlamps and to jointly promote the green smart city pilot projects. Gaoxin District of Gaoyou City is about to prepare the standardization design of smart light poles and implement smart city pilot project. |

Project Assessment Division The Report of 2018 Energy Conservation Examination and Submission was delivered by the Project Assessment Division to better implement the energy conservation examination and submission system regulated according to Fixed Asset Project Investment Energy Conservation Examination Measures, further exercise its arching effect to curb and reduce the energy consumption and intensity. This report is a summary analysis based on each energy conservation examination description submitted by various provinces. |

Integrated Services Division On Feb. 21st, NECC teamed up with the Metrology Department of State Administration for Market Regulation to investigate on progress of the comprehensive monitoring platform for energy saving and emission reduction in the city of Deyang, Sichuan Province. It is one of the demonstration cities under the third batch energy saving and emission reduction fiscal policy, as well as one of the pioneers in energy consumption online monitoring. The team exercised detailed survey on platform’ S functions and operation, and held an in-depth exchange around the problems occurred during the platform construction with local authorities, such as Deyang DRC, EIC, Bureau of Finance and Metrology. |

International Cooperation Division During Jan. 9th-10th, the project under cooperation between NECC and DEA (Danish Energy Agency)--Sino-Denmark Pilot Project on Energy Efficient District Heating delivered its outcome at the meeting in the city of Tongchuan, Shaanxi Province; meanwhile a business matching activity introducing Danish companies to Tongchuan municipal government was also held. The Danish side submitted its report- The Comprehensive Program Plan on Sino- Danish District Energy and Energy Saving, and had a deep-rooted discussion with the Chinese side. |

International Cooperation Division On Jan. 22nd, the standing director of ECCJ (Energy Conservation Center of Japan) 島チャンインand his team paid a visit to NECC to have a formal meeting with Xu Qiang and Yang Bo, ECCJ also invited a professor from Mie University to lecture about energy use situation in Japanese universities and their energy saving machinery as well as management system. |
