NECC and Sumitomo Mitsui Bank of Japan Conducted Cooperative Exchanges

On May 29, Xu Qiang, director of NECC, met with Yoshioka Narumitsu, chairman of Sumitomo Mitsui Bank and his delegation to exchange views on investment and financing cooperation in the field of energy conservation. Xu extended a warm welcome to Yoshioka Narumitsu and put forward three suggestions on cooperation: one is NECC have gradually perfect work system and resource advantage in energy saving technologies, NECC would help Banks with the industry development direction, leading technology, market prospect of project; Second, Sumitomo Mitsui Bank was expected to take advantage of its own resources to introduce advanced technology and projects from Japan to China. Third, both sides would explore ways to jointly promote cooperation on international third party projects. Chairman Yoshioka Narumitsu strongly agreed with the proposals and said Sumitomo Mitsui Banking enjoyed good investment willingness in the field of energy conservation and environmental protection, and would promote energy saving project investment and financing cooperation with NECC.
