Our mission

The National Energy Conservation Center of China (NECC) promotes energy conservation and energy efficiency improvement. It also facilitates the development of market-based energy efficiency program as well as international exchange and cooperation in related fields.

NECC is dedicated to play the roles of a coordinator and a public servant at the same time in terms of assisting Chinese administrations in energy conservation surveillance and providing services for the whole society along with the business community.

Our Roles and Functions

NECC works and addresses in six aspects, namely:

Undertaking the research on energy conservation policies, laws, regulations, planning and management systems;

Demonstrating energy conservation reports for fixed asset investment projects and put forward evaluation opinions;

Organizing the promotion of energy-efficient technologies, products and mechanisms;

Carrying out energy conservation training, dissemination and consulting services;

Managing energy efficiency labeling;

Facilitating international cooperation.
